Siding

Hemlock

Hemlock is a great exterior siding choice that compliments other new age building components. Durable against the elements and bug resistant are positives to this natural material. Pro coat or other exterior product allows the hemlock siding to age gracefully over time. Whether your application is partial or complete structure, this natural siding is a great choice.

Reclaimed barn siding

Salvaged from Midwest barns dating back to the mid 1800’s, this material has developed a weathered patina over time.   Reclaimed siding has checking, knots, nail holes, cracks, and color variation which adds to the character.  Faded gray, red, white, and natural brown tones are common colors of barn siding. This material can be fine-tuned by milling the edges, backplaning to thickness and brushing the face.  Add 10% to 15% extra material to ensure you have enough planks to complete your project.

Common applications for reclaimed siding:

  • Exterior Residential siding

  • Interior wall paneling

  • Decorative accent walls

  • Ceiling paneling

  • Commercial accent walls

Available Sizes: ¾ thickness – 5” to 11” widths – 4’ to 12’ lengths

Wire brushed pine shiplap

An excellent option for barndominiums or a rustic man cave, this white pine has a brushed finish that creates a natural texture and visual appeal. The shiplap profile and long lengths lends itself to vertical siding applications, both interior and exterior. White pine is an excellent building material for its aesthetics and strength, but at a lower cost than cedar or other high-end sidings. This material is kiln dried, milled, and ready to accept the stain of your choice.
